Cheese

Cheeses there are literally hundreds of them and it would be impossible to stock and care for them all individually!
We therefore pride ourselves in sourcing a selection to include local cheese from Thornby Moor Dairy, Cumberland Dairy and Low Sizergh Barn in Kendal.
Our range of regional cheeses include a selection from Swaledale and Northumberland, popular continental cheese, vegetarian, goats, raclette cheese, organic, pasterurised and unpasterurised cheese.
To compliment our range of cheeses we have a wide selection of local chutneys  to suit all palates and a range of quality biscuits that would enhance any cheese.

Olive bar

Complimented by the cheeses is our olive bar selection. We source the plumpest olives with rich deep flavours supporting local suppliers where possible.  Try the succulent garlic cloves, or the very popular baby yellow pumpkins or baby sweet peppers filled with pasterurised cheese, expectant mums can enjoy these too!

Oils

We stock a wide range of infused oils and vinegars from Deli-cious, which are becoming more popular as we become aware of olive oils health benefits and uses.
These are ideal for use as dipping oils, for use in homemade dressings or use to baste meats on the grill. Brush homemade breads or drizzle on vegetables such as potatoes and other root vegetables to deepen the flavours.

Think of the environment and refill bottles from our large oil decanters.

With a large choice of infused oils and bottle sizes available, oil makes a “gift with a difference”, take a bottle of oil to your host instead of the traditional bottle of wine; we have a range of sizes to suit all budgets, we can also gift wrap if required.

Accessories and Hire

Why not hire a raclette or fondue set for the weekend they’re great fun a really social experience. Phone us for details.
We also offer a ‘Try before you Buy’ Raclette which is available from Monday to Thursday or Friday to Monday for £10.00 – if you then decide to purchase; the £10 will then be deducted from the cost of your raclette.

Having a large dinner party or a cheese and wine party?  Then purchase your selection of cheese from us and we will loan you one of our fantastic cheese boards for the occasion. Of course we will give all the help and advice we can to give your guests a super time!
